Not sure the Falcon's and TSR's were any faster. Some of the guys think they might have been a little smoother, or easier to hook up. Like any form of racing, its not about how much power you have, but how much can you use. I considered a Falcon myself in the Cam Am race but opted to use one of my slower Pro Slot puppy dogs so I would not overpower the track. DT Hobbies is a track where you must handle and get your timing down.

Billy is right. The hillclimb at DT is all about finesse and handling. You don't need big power to go fast. I run a hawk 7 in the weekly GTP class and can run with and beat guys running American big arm S16D's.
When I was testing my retro F1 I had a puppy dog in it and it was ballistic down the straight but was almost undriveable. I switched to a falcon and my times dropped 2 tenths and the car was so much smoother.
