Hi,
I recently purchased a lot of older slot cars and in the lot is a Tarantula Drag Car by B&S? It is a 1/24 scale kit with a Dubro body , a K&B bobcat motor (maybe 36d), and a brass pan type chassis. I personally have never seen one, so I was curious as to when it was issued and if it hold any value as it is NIB. I realize it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I will post some pics when I get my hands on it. Thanks in advance for any info.

A few years ago I bought a B&S kit of the Premier Cyclone Avenger on epay. As it turned out it was mostly just BS! It was repackaged parts , original chassis, wrong motor and wheels and axles , clear body , packaged in a shirt box with a gestetner printed label. It didn't go together well since the wheels interfered with the body, so I am still trying to find the right wheels. From what I have read here under the" Premier Cyclone Avenger", the unsold stock was bought up by REH and sold through them. I am not sure if they produced the B&S kits but these were not a vintage kit. Without seeing the chassis, I suspect it may be the one REH sold for a vintage 34 ford roadster kit. I think the value of your kit is equal to the value of the parts, probably less than $50, and you should enjoy it by building up and racing it and displaying it. Gb
