Being that these were just added I wanted to start a separate topic so they wouldn't be lost in the main Sponsor listing.
First, sponsored by Victor of TrueScale Body fame, is the "TrueScale Spray Can Concours Award". The racer who is judged to have the best-appearing body painted with a spray can will win a Paasche Pro Quality airbrush courtesy of TrueScale Products. The judging will be done by raceway staff and all decisions about eligibility will be final. This award will be an annual award. Victor at TrueScale and Tom Thumb Hobbies are joining together in this in the hopes that this will raise the level of quality and detail in the bodies used in Retro racing today.
Second, Jim Difalco of Difalco Design, has donated one of his new Genesis HD30 controllers with brake and full power relays. The controller is the newest release from one of the most complete and quality line of slot car controllers available today. This will be a "door prize" and will be awarded at a drawing immediately following the closing of Can-Am tech on Sunday. You will receive one "chance" to win for every class you enter. The controller is due to start shipping to raceways the week before the R4/4. The lucky winner will be one of the first to own the newest from one of the leaders in controller technology. If you're not the lucky winner, don't worry, I should have a good supply on hand at the counter,

Question about the rattle can award:
Does the body have to be mounted on a car that that is entered in a race or can it be on any car that we bring? Or can we just rattle can a body and bring it with?

Just like the regular Concours award, it has to be on a car that is entered in the race.
And, I guess I should have mentioned, only one award per racer (i.e. you can't win Can-Am AND F1). You can try for each class but only win one.
Also, to be clear, the Retro Stock Car class is NOT included. Maybe next year.
