Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Could we please find a way to get James into more winners' pics? :laugh2:

Man I sure hated to miss this one! I really wanted to go.

I was planning to go as of Thursday night. But Friday our septic tank started spewing out of the ground. :shok:

It's always something!

:) Congratulations on the great turnout in Abbeyville! I wish I could have been there. I was planning on making my debut into Retro at this race, but situations just did not work out. Hope to race with you guys at CMS in April.

It was a good turn-out even though several of the 'local' racers had work-related absences.

We did have a good group come over from Alabama: John Clow, Bud Greene (a first timer), Dallas Jackson, and, of course, Jay Guard. Also, Pablo came all the way from Mississippi again to join the fun. And a surprise visit from Tim Ferguson from Georgia Hobby Center (home of the USRA Div I Nats in 1990) fame, along with Tommy Flythe who we hadn't seen in a while.

Although an R-Geo Chassis is an excellent chassis, James could probably win with a Parma rental chassis!
