Thirteen drivers signed in for the final M-D Retro event of the year at Speedzone. We broke the field up with two mains. Total laps would determine the outcome.

Max Isles broke away early in the first main. He was followed closely by Mike Mankin, Bill Sutton and current point leader Robert Rodgers. Robert had car trouble in heat 4 and had to pull to fix the car. Mike Mankin now moved in and took over the top spot as he and Max had a terrific dual to the end. Mike Mankin won the first main followed by Max Iles and Bill Sutton. Mike completed 242 laps.

Mikey Iles led the whole way in main #2. He pretty much ran uncontested as he took the victory over Doug Murphy and Mike Spisak. Mike completed 240 laps as his lap total was good enough for third overall and a podium finish.

Mike Mankin scored his first M-D retro Amateur win of the season, followed by Max Iles, Mikey Iles, Bill Sutton, Adam Chaya, Doug Murphey, Mike Spisak, and Matt Ramirez in eighth. Robert Rodgers locked up the M-D Retro Am. Championship with a ninth place finish. He was followed by Frank Giordano, Ed Hilland, Mark Nicotera, and Ryan Bruce.

Congrats to Mike Mankin, Max and Mikey on the podium finish. Also, a big CONGRATS to the 2010-2011 Mason Dixon Retro Amateur Champ Robert Rodgers.

Unfortainatley, we forgot the trophies back in Lebanon, Pa. We will get them to the race winners.

Also, somehow we did not take photos of the podium cars ! oops. !

Mike's Air Force cars were super nice. We forgot to announce Can Am concours. We still need a full time secretary in this series :laugh2: . Mike when you get your Am. trophy, there will be a Concours award for Can Am in your box. Do you have any photos of the can am car you can post under the can am race ? Congrats again on your victory and your great finish in the Cam Am championship event !

WTG Mike, and Mikey and Max!

Good drives from all of you by the looks of it.

Were Mikey and Max also running my frames?

Now all we need is something that will give the Evil Bucks Racer's cars a go in CanAm...........

No dennis they were running JK chassis. And the above chassis flirted with the track record here in practice running a 5.38 with record being 5.35 it is a awesome chassis i am wanting to try one of your Can AM's out at the retro east event at the end of the month and i would have had a good shot at the pro coupe but broke right pan hinge on a wall shot in the 3rd heat
