Ralph Thorne, Joe McIntosh, Greg Wells, and Jay Guard left Jay's house in Anniston, AL, this morning at 5:45 AM and after driving through a stupid amount of rain for the majority of the trip, we arrived at Tom Thumb in Columbus at about 4:45 PM.

There were a goodly number of racers already thrashing, but we still snagged some pretty good pit spaces and I got my little computer logged in to the TT wireless network.

Mike's closing down tonight at 8 PM so we'll get decent amount of sleep tonight and we'll probably need it for the rest of the week.

I'll post more tomorrow, including some pics.

I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

The snow will mostly bother racers coming from the northeast. In central Ohio we are forcast for MAYBE 1" to 2" by midday Friday. It is raining all around us but that is supposed to taper off.

The SERRA™ crew has arrived safely back in the 73 degree South. After unpacking and sitting down to dinner with the family, I'm pretty much wiped. Will try to post all the detailed results tomorrow, along with some other stuff.

The best R4 yet!

Can this event continue to grow so strongly year after year? I sure hope so... and with the McMasters clan steering and piloting the ship, I wouldn't bet against that happening.
