All rule sets have been updated to be actually current for the 2014 season.
There are no fundamental changes, just some recent body approvals added to the lists and a few obsolete rules that needed to be updated to match what we are currently doing.

...you should limit the arms to the Puppy Dog in the PS cans...
The Big Dogs are leftovers from the previous ownership and we have to use them in something. But the stock JK Hawk could be a good alternative. We're NOT getting sucked into the American-wound arms or neo magnets... yet.
...I assume that the reason you also list FK motors there is to allow Retro Can-Am cars to run in that class too, correct?
Actually, no. One of our racers discovered running the Falcon isn't half bad in a RetroPro. Sometimes, the Big Dog is too much motor.
Thanks for the thumbs-up, monsieur.

The Falcon 7 is a great motor and much more friendly to us lower entry racers. I have done well with it in RetroPro Coupe. Last race I ran an Eddie Wong built Big Dog, Dick Seely ran the Hawk motor. I like the F7 best, it's just easier to drive.
Thank you, Russ, for the rules. Now I don't have to file my gears to make tech.
How do I submit the Outisight B16 Chevron body for approval?

I would still run clearance on the RetroPro cars. If the spur gear rips the braid off the track, the owner is not going to be happy. Believe me, I've seen happen.
As for submitting new bodies, I'll leave that to Big Jim. See you next week.

I know you folks up there race them...1/32 scale. Are there written rules I can take a gander at?
I couldn't find anything but possibly I was looking in the wrong place. Please advise.

Craig:
We pretty forgiving in terms of 1/32 rules but there is a full rule set modeled upon the SoCal 1/32 rules set. The full rules set was buried somewhere in another thread which I can't find at the moment and......tbph.....it may not be current due to some running motor changes.
We do not allow the Betta bodies due to lack of convenient access. We do allow the JK vintage 1/32 bodies such as the TI-22, BRM, Ferrari 350, Shadow, etc. and the recent flock of Parma Repops of the MAC bodies. We allow the S7 mini brute and Falcon 2 in either inline or anglewinder.
Let me know if you have any specific questions.

NorCal Retro racers...
All NorCal rule sets have been updated to match our current 2014 policies. There are no fundamental changes. There are a few things that we have adopted over the last year or two that were not properly reflected in the rule set and hopefully, I have caught all these oversights and omissions.
- Body lists have been updated to include recent approvals.
- A few unapproved bodies have been removed (nothing that anyone is running)
- We allow front axle A-arms or outriggers in F1 but have never stated or defined. Rules are updated.
- F1 tire diameter, clearance, and chassis width rules did not reflect current policy. Rules are updated.
- Stock Car program has only allowed the S7 motor for a couple of years. Rule set now reflects this.
- A number of unapproved stock car bodies that were still listed have been removed.
- We have measured add-on spoiler height from the top of molded in spoilers for a year. Rule is rewritten.
- An overall height of body including spoiler (1-3/4") is now formally stated for Can-Am and Pro Coupe.
- Other formatting changes and wording errors have been changed.
- Any additional running changes for 2014 will be updated in the rules set as we go along.
- Rules will again be updated for the 2015 season in late November.
