R4/4 F1 race - 3/12/11

The first eye-opener was SIXTY-FIVE entries in F1 (as compared to 48 at R4/3). Thank goodness there was just a single class scheduled on Saturday.
I wasn't able to watch the entire F1 Main, but the word is that there were ONLY SIX DESLOTS total during the race. And last year's winning 278 lap total (by Josh Crutchfield) was eclipsed by six laps. Heck, this year, 280 laps didn't get one racer into the final.
As has been mentioned, the internet connection at Tom Thumb is so slow I can't get online while the live webcast is running (or I knock it off the air). It's killing me hat I can't give everyone more real-time reports from the R4, but next year will be different, as Mike's internet connection is finally going to be upgraded in about 60 days.
It is worth noting that the LapMaster system generates a tremendous amount of date if you know how to find it. When you go to the live webcast LINK, click on "Click here for statistics and results". On the resulting page, every line is also a clickable link. I just checked and F1 was not yet posted, so I'll give the results of the F1 Main.
(Erroneous results have been removed, will edit to add correct results when I can.)

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
