Cheer up!
That happens to the best of us......You just took a Nesta plunge!
Just remember that these are toy cars, and no Chihuahuas were harm in this event.

United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.
Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

It's one thing if it was done on purpose, but another if it was just bad judgment. None of us are perfect, and we've all made mistakes.
Just be happy that you were able to attend such a great event and give them your support.
I would hope that the guys know that It wasn't a planed move on your part. You just pulled a bonner like many of us have done.
The big thing is that you steped up to apologize! More than some do lol.

It's called racing, Mike. Don't sweat it, brother...I would like to offer a most heartfelt apology to everyone that was in my heat of the GT Coupe race on Friday. It was not my intent to take out most of the field on the first lap in the deadman. We went into the corner, I hit my braking spot, and THEN I remembered there was a TSR motor in the car. Normally the dumb s**t I pull only damages my own car, I do not enjoy taking any one out.

In the first heat, I got launched onto the floor in the finger turn, which screwed up the braid. After about three more deslots, one of the marshals mostly fixed the braid so at least I could stay in, but one of the braids started burning, causing the car to lose contact in the turns. It stuttered in the deadman just as Bill Fulmer and Josh Crutchfield came along on the adjacent lanes, causing BOTH of them to launch across the finger at the exact same time without knocking my car out of the slot! And it killed Josh's car (I think by destroying a rear ball bearing).
Color me hugely embarrassed and very apologetic, especially to Josh, who was last year's R4 F1 winner. Josh, thanks for not taking me outside for a payback; I wouldn't have blamed you if you had...

Still, it's never a good feeling to be responsible for tearing up a friend's car or ending his race.

Josh and I had a discussion in the parking lot after the incident,we have something very special planned for you next year.It stuttered in the deadman just as Bill Fulmer and Josh Crutchfield came along on the adjacent lanes, causing BOTH of them to launch across the finger at the exact same time without knocking my car out of the slot! And it killed Josh's car (I think by destroying a rear ball bearing).

The lack of any credible evidence is proof the conspiracy is working!

Maybe you should have kept your mouth shut.
Hey, maybe you should take JJ with you next year as your body guard/hit man??

It's called racing, Greg. Sometimes you bite the dog, sometimes the dog bites you!!!Mike, hope you won't mind if I add an apology to a couple of more racers in the F1 race on Saturday.
In the first heat, I got launched onto the floor in the finger turn, which screwed up the braid. After about three more deslots, one of the marshals mostly fixed the braid so at least I could stay in, but one of the braids started burning, causing the car to lose contact in the turns. As far as the comment made during the race about my car being junk - I was up three or four laps before that happened with that lane to go. I know emotions get involved but I felt that comment was not necessary. I had run black twice in practice - no problem.
Again, I hope I did not effect anybody's finish,

I tried to speak to everybody involved in my race at the race, but I know I missed a few, simply because I couldn't remember everyone who was in the race. Another senior moment.
I was racing with Dave Simerka in another race, and every time he hooked up beside me, all he said was "Don't take me out, don't take me out!"
Philippe,
If this is the kind of thing that made Nesta famous, I've been doing it waaaaaaaaaaaaay longer than he has! Much to my chagrin.
