Could I send you the money for your new book now? Which is due out anytime. Just sign it like you did my last one I bought from you. PM me your PayPal address and money will go out tomorrow.
I do not want to buy it from a book store. They always have to back order and I am too impatient. I have WAITED too LOOOONNNNGGGGG ALREADY.
Best Regards,
Don

Thank you for your interest.
Please relax, it is still far from the printing press. I will let you know when it is getting closer to be released...

But it seems to be a great idea to make a number of books signed. I hope Slotblogers could have a possibility.
I'm in the queue, too.
Cheers.

I have visions of something the size of a Britannica, but more expensive. Can I AFFORD it?
On the other hand, it is so easy to just say something stupid in front of Philippe and get a free lecture!

Though the term I would use is "sermon", not lecture...

I would love a copy signed in blood or if you could include some other bodily fluids on the last page, I would be greatly appreciative.

Will you ever wash yourself again after reading it?
Just to make you wait a bit longer, here is a small extract from a random page...
Monogram had introduced their new slot car racing line in 1964, and by August 1965 had organized the "5th Midwest Grand Prix" in collaboration with the long-established slot car racing club in Rockford, IL. Dick Dobson was trusted in constructing a routed 4-lane, 135' layout that included narrowed section where passing was not to be attempted. The road course had plenty of action with slow and fast corners and long straights, and was fully decorated with scenery and buildings. The track was set up in a corner of the Monogram plant in Morton Grove. Monogram's president Jack Besser and VP Bob Reder attended the affair that saw 40 entrants from other clubs, some crossing the border from Canada. This took place on the hottest day to that date ever recorded in the Chicago area. Fortunately the plant was air conditioned, but racing took place in 90-degree temperature. The usual hot shoes such as Pete Hagenbuch, Gene Wallingford and of course, Dobson himself participated to the racing, while Monogram personnel gave organized tours of the factory during breaks. Coffee and lunch were graciously offered as well as plenty of Monogram products as prizes. A fully equipped pit space was provided with neon lights, individual testing pads and reserved space for each attending club. First-class treatment!
Wallingford and Dobson dominated the event, winning or placing in each class except in the Sports Car Class in which John Atlas bettered the pair by a lap. A race for Monogram's new 1/32 scale Ferrari and Lotus F1 kits with allowed modifications was won by Warren Tiahrt over... Dobson and Wallingford. Tiahrt used a rewound armature in the stock Mabuchi FT13UO motor, while Dobson had a stock Revell SP80 armature in a can fitted with the larger Mabuchi FT16 magnets, a typical modification of the day.
And there are hundreds of pages of this with photographs... bored yet?

Correct. Things are moving as fast as we can make it, but interrupted many times to deal with other issues...
Hence, delay after delay...
Book text is 100% and sealed. We are about 40% done with the pictures.
