On May 21, we're going to race GTR/Retro Can-Am on Wylie Motor Speedways Ogilvie King.

This weekend I became aware that Todd's son has a serious medical condition and Todd has to be in Wisconsin for several months to be with him. He has no insurance, so this will be a race/fundraiser with all proceeds going to Todd and Lizz.

Entry fee for both classes will be $10. John has agreed to build a few ready-to-win Flexi cars to be raffled off.

Asking all racers to show up and support however you can. Any other ideas, help, prizes, donations, etc. will be appreciated.

Hang in there, Todd; our prayers are with you and your son.

Hopefully we can get all the TSRA and Scale Racers to come and participate as well. Todd and Liz are such great host, we need to help out in anyway.

Noose comes thru & offers custon painted body of choice for race prize.

Nice to see people out there helping someone that they don't even know. Todd's son is in a precarious position with complete heart failure, on a machine hoping for heart transplant.

I will build any chassis kits if anyone wants to send some, or cars you don't need that we could raffle.

Here are the two bodies I gave to John Myers this weekend to build ready to run GTR's to raffle. The simple one on left I painted and the other I bought from PA Watson. I expect these will be lucky cars, because John is building them and everything he builds is fast .

Sweet looking bodies there Kyle!

Hope to make the race, but may not due to some work conflicts.

Received 16 retro bodies from Ron Hershman today for the raffle. Thanks Ron.

Here's the chassis Marty Stanley sent. My bad photography doesn't do it justice. You have to hold it in your hand to appreciate the love Marty put in it.

Text below copied from the Texas slot racing website( http://excoboard.com...96934/1#5364391 ):

"A big THANKS to everyone for showing up today! Todd said we'd raised over $1000 today. I'm glad to have taken part in today's events to help.

As Rhett said in the other thread, we had 21 entries for GTR. We also had 14 for retro Can-Am. I'll post results tomorrow. John Myers won GTR and Jerry Boswell won retro Can-Am.

Good night folks! Be safe on your trips home! Thanks again for coming out!"
