Die hard F1 racers as well as an all Legend podium for the Can-Am race made the day fun and memorable.
Thanks to Jim and Debby Watterson for their support of D3 racing at BPR.
Thanks to our race director, Adam Kirchhoffer

Great to see JTA back racing again but sorry to see the interest in the Kingleman starting to wane. That is my favorite track at BPR and maybe anywhere.
Wish I coulda but I couldn't. Hope to make it next month for the flatster.

Thanks for the race report, Keith, and I sure enjoyed it. Have to say it's great to see JC andTore racing more frequently at BPR.
Congrats to you podium winners.

In this bright future you can't forget your past.
BMW (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.
Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

Gorski man, well said from this side of the world, as well!
Looked like a fine race between the aforementioned hot sticks!
And no knife wounds or scars were inflicted it seems!
A question: What happened to Duran?

Duran was running second when he had a problem with his car. I believe it was a lead wire.A question: What happened to Duran?
Bryan probably would have won anyway since he had a good lead at the time.
After the race, Bryan said he had a clean race, no deslots, crashes, or nerfs, just what it takes to win on the Kingleman.

You are so right about that, long way for me to achieve that goal but I have the best in the business to learn from.
Bryan earned every lap in this race because their was a lot of activities going on, and poor Duran became a rider and his car flew like a missile, that one did him in but he took it like a pro.
Tore was on rail and so was Cukras and the rest of you podium hogs!

Keith,
What I said was it was unbelievable that I did not come off the track in the LAST SIX HEATS!! Unbelievably lucky!!
I was off maybe 40 times in the first two heats but was able to somehow claw back through the wreckage without an off!! I think Tore, Duran, and myself were within a lap or so of each other going into the last heat and they both ran into trouble. Tore got killed on black or I think he would have won. A BRUTAL race!!
Can't wait to do it again in August!!

Can't believe that you said that, Bryan. I was a good boy, I think?

A few final words on the Kingleman.
Congrats to Dale Yamashita in the F1 race and special thanks to Rob Hanson from Illinois for building the car I drove in the race. It is more or less a Dennis Samson clone but with a very long wheelbase like Dale's super car and ran great. Thanks, Rob!!
Also thanks to Adam Kirchoffer for running the races and Jim Gonsalves for helping turn marshal. Thanks, Paul and Keith, and thanks Nesta for the pics.
Welcome back, Tore, and great job!!
Congrats John Cukras for second and third.
See everyone in a couple weeks!
