GUYS.... Our old GT/1 class is getting a little face lift... IROC RACING for this season..The rules will perddy much be the same, motor gears, axle size and controler a max tire of 850. Still be hand-out motors just like it has been, but EVERYBODY will run a parma 1035 C O T nascar body. I'll be putting a little twist to it though.... There will be CONCOURSE for every event in this clas... WIN IT and RACE FOR FREE that class only... GET PAINTIN,,,,,,,,,, MAKE EM PERDDY....,,MAKE EM REAL LOOKIN...AND race that class for FREE.... YES FREE.....

As for GP/10,... We will be letting a bearing in the can ONLY, to try to save on some arm shafts. Know that's a BIG PLUS.....no shunts though on GP/10 or G T P.
You now will be able to run any pitch gears, yes rob. NOW you can run 48 , 64 , 72 and even 80 pitch if you would like, don't see that maken a big deal, but we'll see.. Ron was the only one to submit some bodies, so we have some new O/S bodies approved for GP/10 along with the protoe type bodies from J K.. O/S bodies are O/S-289 CADILLAC L M P , O/S-290 LOLA L M P , OS/291 AUDI R-10 L M P
and the O/S ACURA L M P....along with the body list of bodies that has been approved for the last season..

G T P... The BEST class will only be putting a bearing in the can only and no shunts though , along with the gear change as in GP/10... Body list and all others will be the same.... ALL RACES WILL BE 2 on and 2 off...

NOW .... GET BUILDING...... any questions, P/M me...

Hey Frank,
can we still run the older bodies. For gt1?
If not what do I do with all my old stock?
And then why would I have to re- stock with new?

Yo Amigo Frank,

Several good things about the face lift in GT1 one the body using a Parma 1035 for this class is a good idea.
The durabilty of the Parma 16D 501 Death Star. What can you say about them (SEE Firecracker 400 results)
Again THE OCC is showing their commitment to our lead sponsor PARMA.
It's looks like another good season is about to happen!

I'm ok with the body change in GT-1 it's fun for me to paint and detail . I also have a lot of the old bodys but I think we will be able to run them in our weekly GT-1 class. 72 pitch gears Voska is loving it !! :laugh2: Way to go frank on the Globe !! :yahoo:

Also Frank what about changing the pinion gear to a 9-tooth as the 8-tooth pinion was a complaint by alot last year?

Switching to a Nascar Body is just going to make the cars handle worse and cause more crashes anyway.

You might as well put 7 tooth pinions on those Deathstars :laugh2:

you might find that with a 7-tooth the motor will be at its peak before you get in the first turn, plus the COT bodies have plenty of downforce if anything change the spur gear, since we can't change the pinion to a 9-tooth.

Also since we're changing bodies can we really call it GT-1, since we're not using GT1 bodies are we going to call the class 4" starter C.O.T.'s??

Frank- Why don`t you host a Summer Warm Up Race at your track in July or August?
No Points, just let everybody dust off their cars and run all 3 classes for fun.
I`m up for a road trip!
I haven`t been to a Slot Track since April.
Looking forward to racing G10 and GTP this fall.
Thanks :)

Didn`t know you were running G10 and GTP weekly.
Haven`t noticed that in your race announcements here.

I`m interested in ISRA too, but I`ve never raced on a flat track before.

I like racing with you guys.
