Rick,
The warning system is a way the moderating team can log your Terms of Use "transgressions" to let you know that you've been stepping over the line and are in danger of being banned from Slotblog. There are five warning levels. If you have no warnings, the bar is white. If you have been warned, the bar will be red with a length related to how many warnings you have been given.
The main function of the warning system is to provide a method the moderating team can utilize to know which members have violated Slotblog's Terms of Use. It also allows a member see the record of his "sins".
Please note that only you and the moderating team can see your warn status; the regular members cannot.
In all honesty, it's not something you need to be too concerned about.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
