The Jail Door race was a "crash and burn" fun race.
A pleasant surprise was the return to D3 racing by Mike Steube. Mike ran some Warmack loaner cars and had fun.
Dokk was the tech nazi for today's races. Tech inspection started on time and closed on time. The Can-Am "A" Main race finished at 3:40 pm.
Thanks to Jim and Debby Watterson for their support of D3 racing at Buena Park Raceway.
Thanks to our race directors: Mike Aguirre, Hector Gonzalez, Keith Tanaka, Mill Conroy
Here's the complete race/photo report:

I am pleased to report that it was a very fun event where just about everyone enjoyed themselves and only smiles could be seen.
I would like to thank raceway owner Jim Watterson for his kind collaboration in allowing D3 to run its event there, Jim also raced in the event and did very well.
A big thanks to Mike Aguirre for his race-directing help, as well as that of Ken Dylke, Paul Sterrett, Keith Tanaka, all of them who made the day enjoyable for all others. Also thanks to all the volunteers who helped preparing the track early in the morning, so that the schedule was run on time, and actually in the case of the Can-Am event, AHEAD of schedule.
And talk about FAST, when the race report is published before I can even wake up on Monday morning...
Keith is the best.
For the next D3 race on the King track, I will make SURE that the power is adjusted to the proper voltage for our motors, so that no one has any issues.
It was clearly proven that a simple adjustment pays off, when no one at the Checkpoint Cup had any problem, while speeds were still record-setting. Perception and reality being two very different factors...
I will post a few pictures I took later today.

Nesta
Nesta Szabo
In this bright future you can't forget your past.
BMW (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.
Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

I can't see sh*t right now and have to go back to my postings to figure out where my fingers ended on the keys... especially on that miniature notebook I am using when traveling...
Fortunately my sight is supposed to improve as time goes by, so typos will be less obvious before long...
For Nesta of course there is no hope.

A special thanks to Kamoshita, with a little tuning for the flat track his CanAm chassis worked very well. With it I was able to set my personal best Can-Am qualifying time and laps completed.
Keith, as always it was a pleasure to race with you. Your reporting is beyond reproach. We are so lucky to have your involvement.
