With Dennis's help, we'll gradually move his chassis and building threads to this subforum. Please note that only Dennis will be able to start threads in this subforum; regular members will only be able to reply and post to existing threads.

Ernie, thanks for asking. We're doing fine at the moment. Not sure if that mostly is because we don't have any more ancestors to lose...
Dennis has already sent me a list of the threads to move but I probably not have time to tackle that job until later today.

I have sent Greg a list fo the threads to be moved here, and slowly I will add a few more.
I have an idea for a thread that documents the progress of my Retro frame designs over the last five years, as well as some threads about little techniques and tools I have developed to make things easier when building in volume.

Amen to that!Dennis' Garage is an AMAZING place, both literally and figuratively. I am astounded by his methods and craftsmanship on every visit. GREAT that everyone will be able to see how he accomplishes this work. Dennis deserves this spot light, it's long overdue.
Congrats, Dennis... I'm very proud to say I've got three of his chassis, all work excellently, too.

Perhaps I should also mention that not every topic Dennis has started will be moved here; a few are more appropriate for other locations.
Since the subject of why PdL and I started Slotblog six years ago arose in another thread recently, I'd like to mention that one of the central reasons was to provide an information channel and online reference for the slot car hobby. The chassis design and building information contained in threads like Dennis' (and numerous others here) is material that doesn't exist anywhere else, which is what makes it so interesting as well as so valuable.
I know I speak for PdL (as well as for myself) in extending a huge "Thank You" to all of the members who have been so generous in sharing their knowledge and experiences here at Slotblog for the benefit of everyone in the hobby.
