I am open to all suggestions, Formula 1 or sports car of the '50s? I would like to use a clear body and an inline chassis.
Thank you in advance,

A body will be a bit difficult to find because there are not too many replicas of the really old ones, like a Maserati 450S or a Ferrari TR.
Possibly the easiest to find (and it is not that easy) would be a Pactra Ferrari-Chevy with the fin, the one used by Oscar Koveleski of Auto World, because they sold many of them and they do appear on eBay.
Otherwise, a Ferrari 156 by Stormer or Pactra, or an Alfetta or Connaught by Du-Bro.
The options are limited...

I like the Connaught a lot, what about a Vanwall? Would a Dynamic chassis be appropriate?

At least the body is relatively easy to find.
You are a lucky boy to have access to a 450S. That big V8 has lots of torque... enough to twist the Borranis out of their centerlock hubs!

Careful when mounting the Russkit wires: the jam nuts are part of the wheels and they do not turn independently, when affixing, use a wrench on the nuts but do not hold the wheel at the same time or it will shear from your fingers!

Our friend in the UK has been doing repops of some of my collection. You can get a good Birdcage from him as well as the Maserati 300s and 450 S.

But the Russkit Ferraris are becoming difficult to find too...

If you can whittle up a suitable body i might be able to deliver in person while at the October "Thingie" meeting at Roncole Verdi which i think Luciano might be attending.
Hope you recovered from the "World's" on Wednesday night, will try and tempt more superstars to the next one by offering to pay travel expenses with day travel cards!
