The monthly D3 F1/Can-Am/Jail Door races returned to the King track for September.
A lot of very close, clean (much less deslots/crashes than usual) racing provided an exciting and fun day again at BPR.
Some new cars built using a new kit from a Tokyo D3 racer (Hanada) proved to be a winner.
Thanks to Jim and Debby Watterson for their support of D3 racing at BPR.
Thanks to our race directors and tech inspector: Paul Sterrett, Keith Tanaka, Philippe de Lespinay

Keith,
Thank you very much for your great race report as usual.
I'm glad the Hanada kit cars, Kamo's and mine showed good performances at BPR.
Congrats all the winners.

Akitani,
Some day we hope to meet you personally. Your chassis and parts are great!
REMINDER to ALL D3 RACERS:
The rules clearly posted, forbid ANY alterations to the motors.
From the very next race, no alteration of any part of the can such as grinding or adding solder will be allowed for any reason at time of tech inspection.
The only allowed modification to the motor is trimming the pinion shaft to fit requirements of pinion and gear clearance. Period, end of sentence.
Please be kind to bring cars to tech inspection at the next race that meet the motor rules,
As they say in bad B-movies about future police-run societies: "We thank you for your cooperation".

Another fun day of racing at Buena Park. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
Special thanks to Kamoshita. With a little more tuning and better driving I was able to qualify his Can-Am car at 4.214 and complete 308 laps, both are personal bests. Kamo's car is great fun to drive and has proven to be competitive on both the King and flat tracks.
More thanks to Paul for the use of his Jail Door car.
