For me the Sano all boils down to the wonderful experience of hanging out with all the cool personalities in retro racing. A big thanks to Mike, Jackie and all the Chicago folks for their fine hospitality. You guys pulled off another wonderful event.
One of my highlights. . . Sano Dave took Mike Reniger and me over to Maxwell's for a Chicago Style hotdog and I "paid twice" for the hot peppers; if you know what I mean. Actually, I pitted by Terry call me "Mr. Winner" Watson and he paid more than I did. Terry, you can thank Sano for that.
I really learned a lot this weekend from Sano, Ralph, Wes, Jay, Ron, Randy, Terry, Noose, Rick, Rich, Jeremy, Steve, Ray, Chuck. . . I could go on, but it's safe to say that everyone was very helpful this weekend.
It was a blast meeting new people and spending time with my lifelong friend Mike Reniger; I wish the Sano was more than once per year.
