Your dedication and love for slot racing is legendary. You work so hard on this stuff it is mind boggling and I want to say thank you because you really make everything happen behind the scenes and at the tracks.

You never looked better... except for the red stuff flowing out of your neck!!!
You were just trying to psych people out by acting like you were sleeping, right?

And did anyone notice the super-cool Retro East and Noose banners? Those were made by Hip and brought to the race!

Apparently Mr. Kisling got hit or hit someone causing his car to turn into a rocket very early in the race and Jay figured it was "Chips" and unhooked. Mr. Pit Man, Wes Pikunis, then advised that the car was OK and gave Jay a speech that Jay apparently had given Wes several times.
To Jay's credit he got back into the race and one can only imagine what might have happened had he not lost those laps during that time.

An interesting tidbit to that F1 Main that I just learned about today.
I can attest that his car went whizzing past my head, from the turn after the lap counter to the floor between the straights.
Kudos to Wes for being such a great wing man, and to Jay for the fortitude to get back in the race and then calmly make up the lost laps. He put on an amazing drive on red (which I consider the toughest lane on that track) in the final heat.

My bones just "talk and talk and talk" and I'm tired of shutting them up with MSIR. Anyway I am saving my Money for Florida and will be heading South on January 3rd to live in Clearwater, Florida with some friends of mine who own race cars from Stafford, Riverside Park.....
The Fall Brawl was the best time of my Slot Racing career in many years and I hope to make the 2012 edition.
It looks like everyone had a great time!

I really enjoyed seeing everyone on Saturday. I had not seen Howie for many years and enjoyed talking with him about the old days about The Racing at Cliffhurst in Wilks-Barry Pa n the late 60"s. You will have to get a copy of Car Model and see pictures of what we think was the most beautiful fully landscaped track and most fun to drive ever built. I also got to spend some time on the Howies cell phone with Sandy Chris Vitucci who has a car leasing company in Rego Park Queens and hope I can talk him into making a race
next year.
Having Bob at this race was a very special event for me.When he walked in i was transported to the days at Polks Hobbies in NYC. We were best friends for a long time and had a great race team together. Thank you Bob for coming.
