Oct. 5-7.
Reasons include avoiding iHobby weekend, Sweetest Day, Halloween weekend, and pushing it further away from the Fall Brawl.

At Sano II, I made the mortal mistake of attending on my anniversary ( she said it was OK ). Boy, did I ever pay the price for that one!!!
At Sano VI, will JK Spec be limited to the old style chassis?

Can we get an actual race schedule?
TIA.

It's a very similar schedule as last year, except JK Spec on Friday will start an hour later. That should allow Noose time to arrive and get settled in before tech.
Tech for JK Spec and JK Super Spec will start at 11 AM.
Entrants for JK Spec will be limited to racers not on the GTC-PD list.
JK Spec entrants will be limited to using the original JK Can-Am chassis with the same building restrictions.
Entrants for Super Spec will be open, but you can't enter both.
Super Spec entrants will be allowed to run either the original chassis or the new DX25R, built in an .062" or .078" monorail configuration, and the pans unmodified except for rear tire clearance. Super Spec racers will be allowed to use rear axle BBs and BB front wheels in either style chassis.
Hand-out Hawk 7s will be used in both classes with 7 tooth, 48p pinions required. A new twist for 2012 will be racers can use a 27t or larger crown gear. They cannot use a smaller crown, i.e. a 26t.
F1 and Can-Am, in that order, will follow the two JK Spec classes on the Flat track.
Hand-out Falcon 7s will be available for purchase for the next days GTC-FK class. Falcon 7s purchased on Friday will be required to be left at the raceway overnight.
Saturday will be GTC-FK and GTC-PD followed by F1.
Sunday will be Can-Am.

The hardest thing about that motor goin south was trying to stay out of everybody's way and not enter the turn when they did. It was the most nerve racking and difficult race I think I ever had in retro. It was a small victory for me. Lol. Some good did result from it and that was they changed the motor rule so nobody would ever have to go thru that pain again. Lol

One thing that wasn't perfectly explained was on the bracket.JK Spec entrants will be limited to using the original JK Can-Am chassis with the same building restrictions.

Super Spec entrants will be allowed to run either the original chassis or the new DX25R, built in an .062" or .078" monorail configuration, and the pans unmodified except for rear tire clearance. Super Spec racers will be allowed to use rear axle BBs and BB front wheels in either style chassis.

The JK 3/4" bracket, like that comes in the kit, must be used, unmodified, except for slight tweaking to square
it up to the Brackagra.
The motor doesn't need to be screwed in, but if soldered, must be positioned flat up the bracket face.
IOW, in the hypoid position.
Guys choosing to run this chassis on Saturday or Sunday, of course can open up the bearing hole after the Super Spec race, and solder up the motor at an angle in the straight position.

I thought the bracket supplied with the canam JK kit was 1" and the JK F1 kit had the 3/4" wide bracket???
Anyway that's the width I have on the JK kit I got.
In the JK spec rules it says the JK kit w. bracket supplied should be used. So then which width??

What you quoted is in reference to the JK Super Spec.
For "regular" JK Spec, you of course have to use either one of JK's 1" brackets, unmodified.
