Lotus 40 Fein Design

We spoke a long time ago of the splendid resin kit of a Lotus 40 made by Karl-Heinz Hornberg from "Fein Design".
I have several to build.
This is the first of the serie that I had to make for my friend Régis Baron, another member of Slotblog, who by the way is the builder of the chassis.
In fact it was agreed between 3 friends that one would build the kits (me) another one would pay one kit for Régis and that Régis made for the 3 of us a certain number of chassis.
His work on the chassis is tremendous and I hope he will tell us more about them.
The fact that he also made the wheels is very important, as he started from the inserts and from pictures of the genuine wheels.
Here is the first result of this collaboration.
In addition to the thanks to Regis Baron, I would also like to compliment Karl-Heinz for this tremendous kit and thank him for having kindly followed the build and friendly provided a very usefull advise when he saw that I was doing wrong as for the roll bar.
Enjoy.

"Drive it like you're in it!!!"
"If everything feels under control... you are not going fast enough!"
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Now, I have to say that with such a good chassis (and perfect wheels) made by Régis and such an excellent kit as proposed by Fein Design, things were easier indeed ...

Absolutely gorgeous! The rivets shown are such a nice detail. I see them in quite a few of the master builders here cars. Is there a place where they or something similar would be for sale in the USA, as I tryed the website on the package shown and drew a blank.
There you go brother....

I would say for 1/24 scale it would be a .05 or .07
