Checkpoint Cup racers and participants

I'm not able to put a max effort into the Checkpoint but will give it a shot. I suspect a lot of racers will be like me, signing up and just trying to enjoy a day of racing.
The real racers are another matter, they are preparing. Saturday I was watching Mill Conroy preparing and practicing. I had to admire his efforts both in on track practicing and in his car prep. Phil was there for much of the day exchanging cars and driving different lanes. Mill was there early and stayed till the drag racers finished their race after midnight. It was a textbook example of doing what it takes to position yourself for a chance at a win.

........it was only because I hooked up my controller backwards........................ Unfortunately, those controller gremlins reek havoc when hooked up wrong.
Sorry to hear that Mill.
Even more reason to mount these onto all drivers platforms

The tracks will be cleaned and prepped by the raceway owners on Thursday morning and should not need anything after that the whole weekend.

Yesterday at my Cheerio SpeedWay in Tokyo, I met Yoshi HIrose, ex-wing-car racer, who said hello to you.
He is glad to hear you are starting to race D3 as Yoshi is enjoying a lot here.
I am about to leave for LAX now.
Looking forward to seeing you at BPR,

It was a great time for all even if you didn't win, but I think we all won with the friendships made, and the feel of peace and excitement in the building.
I will not ever forget you guys are the best. Thanks.
