Sorry about the delay. Here are the results from April's Rocky Mountain Retro Racing monthly event. With only 5 of us racing, we chose to race straight through the 8 lanes with only Jim and Josie (track owners) marshalling. Everyone drove cautiously to minimize lost laps. Both the Stock car and Can Am races were quick and clean.

In the stock car class, Paul Murr took 1st place with 221 laps and George Zmuda close behind with 215 and AJ Hoyt in 3rd at 213 laps. Paul had quick time with 6.039.

In Can Am, George Zmuda won with 234 laps, Paul Murr 2nd at 232, and AJ Hoyt had 230. Rob Draper had quick time with a lap of 5.539

I'd also like to mention that AJ flew in from Milwaukee to race and Justin Kill returned from a long hiatus to race with us.

The track was oddly slow - at least for me. I was able to run that same Can Am car at a very consistent 5.5 and low 5.6's at the Rocky Mountain Challenge (untouched since that race).

There were recent RMRRA races where a 238 total would only get you 7th or 8th place!

Come on, guys! Let's get out and join the fun! It's a lot more fun with a full track and full complement of marshals!

Keep it in the slot (it's more fun for everyone),

AJ

Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"

Besides, where would I even begin?   I should probably start with my wife ...

"I don't often get very many "fast laps" but I very often get many laps quickly."

The only thing I know about slot cars is if I had a good time when I leave the building! I can count the times I didn't on one two three hands!
