Qualifying will be starting in a few moments...

Well, I meant fresh faces who weren't here yesterday.
But for some of the hot dogs, they're probably thinking "fresh meat on the table". LOL!

Hershman's TQ is pretty significant: it's his first IRRA™ race on a non-King track. And it's his first IRRA™ race running a car not built by Rande "RPM" Marshall; he was running a Joe "Jobiwan" Macintosh chassis from Ralph Thorne's stable.
Arrived late yesterday, borrowed car, first time ever on the track = TQ. So much for that "home track" and "juiced" motor thing. LOL.
Congrats to Ron H.

Ron utilized an old wing car trick to help grab that TQ.
The dead strip for the lap counter is just before the track goes under the bridge to enter the donut. On his last qualifying lap, Ron never blipped and ended up walling the car in the donut, to enable crossing the dead strip under full power.

No one has gotten fresh with Greg in many, many years!
And who is the imposter calling himself Ron Hershman? Everybody knows that Ron is TOO SCARED to run on anything other than a King track?
The lack of any credible evidence is proof the conspiracy is working!

The Guardster cut it the tiniest bit too close on rear tire diameter and got bounced late in tech by the Tech Nazi, so he had to qualify with a newly-cut rear tire that wasn't broken in and his car was loose as a goose.
My money says Jay will make the final Main unless he has bad luck in his Semi.

With a Noose loaner and the same motor of mine that Greg used at R4/1!!!
Yeah, we beggars can't be choosers, you know. I admit I didn't think he'd foist a five-year-old motor off on me though... LOL!

LOL! There's a little more to the story.
Ron utilized an old wing car trick to help grab that TQ.

I wouldn't call that a "trick". I thought it pretty smart of him to do that. How many others did that? Even though he never raced on that track, Ron's experience and expertise told him what was needed to TQ.
