Thanks, Cap We refer to them quite a bit here in Erie. Since we still run the TRRS/OCC cars from time to time.

Amigo Cap,

Thank you for your vision in GT1, the class will have a breath of fresh air. Good move in keeping the gearing to a 4 to 1 ratio

Can't wait for this Fall. BUT I am going to enjoy the Spring and Summer first. Everyone enjoy the up and coming warm weather and I'm going to watch some BIG cars do there thing.

Thanks, Jay. I tried to update the GT1 class while still keeping the speeds slower than Group 10. The idea was to restrain the current "speed progression" we have now.

Also eliminated the hand-out motor program, so racers are no longer at motor draw mercy. LOL.

I think everyone should use the Parma 501s, and I'll use the Demon motor. That's what we did at HMS Wed night club races and it worked well.. :D

GTP rule #6.16.3 says only OCC approved C-can setup may be used for the Contender arms.

Where does one find what setups are approved by OCC? I don't see it anywhere here.

Thanks.   :)

Pablo,

Any C-can set-up is legal. That line needs edited out.

Dave,
The rules are posted using Microsoft Word.
Maybe? Someone can tell you how to get that program? Or convert them into another file format?

Noticed in the last OCC race some were running the PROSLOT fk motor instead of a c-can  cont. or S-16D in the GTP.  Did not notice that in the rules. Can you run the fk in future races?

Dave D,  the rule was changed at the OCC Meeting during the yearly Enduro race back in May.  GTP now have the option of running the FK or use Motors allowed in prior years.  Fk's and C-D Can motors race together but are scored for points separately.

Looking over the rules, I see some things have changed since I have last raced (2 years ago) and have some questions:

In Gt-1 what is the maximum rear tire diameter, and is a resistor style controller still required?

Is Group 10 unchanged?

In GTP is PS-4002FK  the part number for the optional motor?  Can you blue print it or does it have to stay sealed?  Can you run any gearing?

Thanks

Steve H.

In GT1, max tire diameter is .800 and any controller can be used s long as it does not add power to the car/track

Group 10 hasn't changes with the exception of a few more body options

For the GTP, the PS must have it's seal and be unaltered. This motor was allowed to increase participation in that specific class by following the K.I.S.S system and it's worked so far. You can also run a C-can motor if you'd like but if you check out the race results, you may notice the Pro Slots are comparable if not more consistent than the high horsepower C's.
