I should have added, that's very very nice, Denny. The caliper thang was a funny ha-ha... excuse me.

This is the rough-in machine that I made last year. Check out the base/vac attachment.
It REALLY works. Absolutely NO dust.

Very nice!
Where does the small plug get plugged into? in a jack below the switch?

Do you have any working prints of the parts used to make this truer?

Unfortunately, it was kinda a fly by the seat of my pants deal.
Found a motor that I liked and went from there.
Probably not what you wanted to hear.

You did a fantastic job on you truer. Just curious, what did you use for the grinding drum? Also, what screw thread did you use for the stop and feed? Let me know if you'd like a Knob Job for it.

If it’s not an original Knob Job, you got screwed!

Thanx! Grinding drum is a 1" sanding drum mounted on a 1" aluminum drum.
Threads for stop/feed are 8-32. Appreciate the Knob Job offer/suggestion.
Haven't decided yet what I'll do. I may opt to retro fit with dial indicator ala
Tom Lauterbaugh that Rick eluded to in a prior post here.
