I would like to get some GT coupe bodies painted in the theme of the Gulf sponsored Porsche 917s of the early 70's. Yea, the baby blue and orange cars, awesome! Who's got a decal sheet for these cars? Or simply the Gulf decal. TIA.

The thing about Bruce's products are that they are SCALE, and few current "1/24" bodies are actually in-scale.
This means that the bodies are stretched and flattened to fit the chassis it's intended for and also for performance reasons.
In some dimensions the bodies we use are closer to ~ 1/20 scale (width), other dimensions are closer to ~ 1/28th scale (height). Etc.
A word to the wise.

MG: I appreciate the comment; however, I am not looking for a true scale appearance simply based on what you said. I just really liked those cars back in the early 70's and actually saw them race at Watkins Glen when they ran a 6 hr endurance race on Saturday and the Can-Am on Sunday. I think that was 1971, I still have the race program.
Duffy: that source is in Australia. Even though that guy has alot of great looking decals and he has exactly what I want; I would really like to deal within the USA.

Dan, I Emailed Patto's dirtectly and paid thru PayPal, and got my decals within ten days (the envelope was stamped, "Please Do Not Bend / Please Do NOT Get Wet"--the guy springs for a custom stamp, how can you not love 'im?)--nicely printed, and ThankGod not OLD and DRIED! I got no complaints. You may be satisfied.
Otherwise, I think Professor Motor carries some of Patto's stuff.

I painted mine without decals & it turned out just fine:

Yes, Bruce does peel and stick, plus you can also get the waterslide decals printed in reverse for inside clear bodies. You just have to let him know if you want them that way.
