I must admit I screwed up on this one. I have one of these and wondered if it was a commercial chassis or metal-bashed. Then in Turin a couple years ago I saw one in its package - and didn't write down the manufacturer! (thinking I would remember, yeah right, CRS...)

Maybe if Franco or Maurizio sees this, they might remember the name of the company - I don't think they were the ones selling it, but maybe they know who did (the guy with all the magazines)...

Don

PS: Possibly Wayne, but don't really think so - that's the only name that comes out of the distant mist...

No, Bertil, just being sold by one of the Italian collectors. Only one of these I've ever seen in a package!

I do not remember ever seeing one of these things and have not a clue of who made it, but it is just as well as its design if from someone with not a clue.

I would bet that it's a pre-production test mule then if Philippe has never seen one. Probably something one of the manufacturers came up with as a cheap way to make a slot car.

If you have one , which company supplied the parts like wheels , gears, guide ect, might help localize the mfg.

But I'm pretty sure it was just the bare chassis in the bag Gary, so any other parts wouldn't mean much. When I get a chance I'll try to get in touch with Franco and see if he remembers...

I will check on the Wayne chassis drawer Saturday of next week at the LASCM. At this time it does not ring a bell.
