How is the air conditioning at the track? With the temp outside being over 100, how will it impact the race?

A good question. Weather Channel says the high temp on Saturday in Lavergne is going to be 107 degrees F.

Rick does have air conditioning in the raceway. As far as it impacting the race I'm not sure, I would assume if it does get warm the track might get slick? Hot or cold I'm sure we will all have a good time racing and visiting with friends!

Chris, AC is good @ the track. Should be comfortable ( especially when you come in from the heat). LOL. Are you going to be able to make it to the race? Hope to see you! Rick.

Might want to clean the AC condenser coils with a garden hose, it makes a big difference in the cooling efficiency. I cleaned mine yesterday for the heat wave. :heat:

This heat is brutal, but it's been worse in Atlanta in the past (sez the old timer...): in 1980, forty of the nominal ninety days of summer were 100 or higher. We survived but the memories aren't good.

Least you don't have any fires. Those folks in Colorado are having a tough time. Whew!

Yeah, that Colorado fire is an awful thing. The pictures of the completely destroyed subdivisions are gut-wrenching...
