[Tom Thumb Hobbies]

I have FINALLY moved the R4 from the weekend that Daylight Savings time starts so we don't loose that precious hour of sleep on Sunday.

I have also changed the Can-Am race to Saturday, hopefully to give some of you more travel time at the end of the weekend. Obviously this means that F1 will now race on Sunday. My hope is that this doesn't impact entries in F1 because for many F1 is their "premier" event.

In addition the Bench Race Bash has been moved to Friday night.

March 15, 2013 - GT Coupe / Bench Race Bash
March 16, 2013 - Can-Am
March 17, 2013 - F1

Yeah Mike may end up with more than he bargained for, we're talking about a road trip from South Bend. Love those retros (just for the record, F1 is my 3rd favorite).

I plan on being there. Going to try and come race one weekend before the R/4 also. Cant wait

I plan on being there. There's nothing stopping me this time. Even my wife, Karen, wants to go! I just hope I don't find a job until March 18th or all bets are off!

Don, I sure hope you can come. But then that sounds like I hope you stay unemployed. That is certainly not the case. Maybe you can find a job with a VERY understanding boss who understands the need to race.

I'm not unemployed. I work at 'Slots of Fun' and Bernibrooks Inn (full time now) and I'm having a blast working on projects and honey-do lists that I couldn't get done before. The raceway is really lookin' good which will pay huge dividends down the road (I may have to hire a full-time staff there! ). So, if I get a job offer and the Hiring Manager asks when can I start, I'm telling him "Monday, March 18, 2013"!

Truly, a great American Annual Slot Car Race. The McMasters kick it all off with the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. It just doesn't get much better than that.
