Oval slot car racing on a HUGE oval track with equally HUGE cars (1:12 scale). Whew!
Some of you may already have seen this. For those who haven't, here's an enhanced
version with more rolling thunder than before. Sit back, bump up the volume and enjoy!

That looks like a legendary privatly owned 240' oval club track somewhere in the hinterlands of North Caroliina... it has been there for ever, & I believe it is located in an old cloth mill. I also heard the normal car on that track is a scratch built chassis, hard body w/ gp 20 motor... Can any one verifythis???

Looks like they're taking up 2-3 lanes each on a 1/24 scale track. They sure sound cool, too.

On '92 EuroNats in Kuopio, Finland the Russians had a big scratchbuilt truck with them. It couldn't fit under the bridge but managed the other turns somehow. Lifted over the bridge the lap time was some 11 -12 seconds.Posted Image
