LMP / GT12 / ISRA JRL Saturday September 15th 2012
The Third Saturday this month, is this just a week away!
Flat track road racing at Buena Park Raceway
This event is held on the THIRD Saturday of each month.
Raceway opens at 8:00 AM.
1/24 Falcon GT-LMP tech at 9:30 AM – first race at 9:45 AM.
GT12 will start one hour after the end of the 1/24 Falcon GT-LMP race. (12:00??)
NEW CLASS --> ISRA JRL will start one half hour after the GT12 race ends (1:30??)
1/24 Falcon GT-LMP any stamped steel Flexi chassis/Falcon motor/any GT or LMP body.(USRA 2011 body list for reference)
GT12 – same rules as USRA - no minimum clearance - ISRA LMP bodies or USRA GT12 bodies (no GTP bodies) (USRA 2011 body list for reference)
ISRA JRL open wheel class with JK Hawk 6 motors- All 1/24 open wheel chassis are legal for JRL.
By popular demand, we will allow the can bushing to be replaced with a true oilite bushing. No other improvements should be done, as we would like this class to be a spec motor class.

Parma Flexi 1 853 (May Substitute Flexi 2 Center 595b).
JK Indy Car / F1 Chassis 2690 and 2692, Cheetah 2511, Cheetah 7 F1 Chassis.
Champion Turbo Flex, Astro Flex with Narrow Pans.
JRL Top Suspension Piece May Be Bent To Ease Body Mounting.
Stamped Steel Chassis May Add Any Type Of Piano Wire Bracing.
Pin Tubes May Be AddedBall Bearings Are Allowed (Not Required).
Pan Movement May Be Increased or Restricted.
Front Wheels Must Be At Least .600” In Diameter and At Least .300” Wide.
3/32 Minimum Front Axle Diameter on Spring Steel Chassis.
No Other Modifications Will Be Allowed.
Gears Unrestricted. 3/32 rear axle required
Body Any 1/24 scale Indy / F1 production body.
Chassis must be completely covered when viewed from above; except for the
front wheel assembly and rear wheels, tires, gear and rear most portion of side
pans. A number must be displayed in at least 3 different positions.
Number must be a minimum of .25” high and are decals, vinyl, or painted from
the inside.
All cars must contain a painted and detailed (3 different colors) 3 dimensional
driver with the helmet, shoulders, arms and steering wheel mounted in the
original cockpit position.
Motor Unmodified JK Hawk 6 - May replace the CAN oilite bushing with similar - no ball bearings in motor
Dimensions Maximum width excluding pins and tape is 3.269” (83MM)
Rear tires Must have maximum width.815” (20.mm). The rubber portion of the tire contacting the track surface must be black.
Rear clearance There is no minimum clearance provided the gear is level with, or above the bottom of the chassis. This rule will be strictly enforced in order to protect the track surface.

Debby has the H & R open wheel chassis KIT in stock now.
I will have at least one loaner for JRL and others for LMP and GT12.
So much DRAMA for such small cars....

I was Enduroing it somewhere else, so don't know whats the what. . .
