The new Sprint Cup 2000-2012 hardbody racing class has been revised.
The new rules expand the model kit bodies to 1990 thru 2012.
This change was made since the availability of 2000-2012 model kit bodies is very limited. In order to provide more variety
as well as better availability of model kits, it was decided to expand this class to include the 90's bodies.
Check the revised rules at the socald3.com website: http://socald3.com/site/D3_Car_Race_Regulations/Entries/2012/6/19_D3_HARD_BODY_racing_regulations.html
The body trim rules for the 2000-2012 cars are different from the 90's cars, so be sure to check the revised rules.
This expanded racing class will be run at the Hardbody Nats on Sept. 29-20. Since time is short before the Nats, let your
fellow hardbody racers know about this recent rules change.

VERY FUN hard body Nats at Buena Park--Look for Keith's excellent coverage!!! Thanks Keith and the Watterson's for another fun weekend of racing!!
Look for additional hard body rule changes for 2013!! Small changes to approved bodies in the interest of keeping MORE bodies in the class's by discouraging the "wide" body only cars!! LIke the AAR cuda's in Trans Am and the "53" corvette bodies that are ultra wide!! Should allow for MORE variety within the class's -- encourage different chassis and body combo's!!
