This weekend, Kaneohe MCBH will be having their air show w/the Blue Angels as their major attraction. Combine this with some HO racing is simply MAGIC! A friend of mine has invited a few of the HOPAC crew to race on his refurbished Brystal track. Gary Beedle (HOPAC) and Bryan Henden (Brystal Tracks) will be among those who will be there for this Saturday's event! Last time I saw these guys was at the 2002 & 2003 Western States held in Redmond WA and Canby OR. It's gonna be great to renew friendships and fun to rub elbows with this race crew. On top of that, the Blue Angels are gonna put on a GREAT show after the race! The sight & sounds of the air show and some awesome HO racing will certainly contrast and enhance the BEAUTY of my home town Kaneohe. I could not ask for the makings of a PERFECT weekend!

Some pics of yesterday's inaugural race at Koolau Motorsports HO Track owned by Dale Carstensen. Racing was not very intense but very competitive and spirited. It was GREAT to see the HOPAC guys - Gary Beedle, Bryan Henden, Pastor (Kahua) Steve Stouffer, Dave Rothwell, and Craig from the Midwest. Great food and drink was provided by Thelma Carstensen, our gracious host, who gave us a tour of their fabulous house. Finally, the Blue Angels performed for about 45 mins. which was a GREAT way to end a fabulous day in PARADISE here in the Sandwich Isle!
