I thought to myself, "Who in the heck is driving my &^%^% car !!! ???"
Oh %$#& I hope nobody saw that on the streaming video (Forgot to remove and impound my car after my White lane sit-out...)
The chassis and body had zero damage, but the crown was dinged. Thanks to Wes Pikunis for a valiant attempt to save it, but it died shortly thereafter.
Last time I attended a Sano event, I remember Matt Bruce had a bad hand-out motor in one of the JK classes... he never cried, he just soldiered onward... That memory influenced me, so I just closed one eye, farted, and continued my marshalling duties...

Beuford, at the 2006 Wing Nat's, at about 80-90 MPH, went halfway through the soft wall in the bank.
He still tied for high total for that heat, and fairly easily won the race.

At least you know your chassis can take a hit...

I can verify that! As I'm a crash test expert for a Pablo-built chassis!

.... flew through the air about 30 feet and hit me hard in the left arm as I was marshalling the 90.

What's the likelihood of that happening? Great story, Paul!

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
