From Wikipedia: Graham Hill driving a Lotus 49 at the Nürburgring in 1969 ... and cap design of London RC for his racing helmet - dark blue with white oar-shaped tabs. ...
Although its hard to tell from old color photos, it does appear to be a dark blue color with white oar-shaped tabs (London Rowing Club).

Before taking up motor racing, Hill spent several years actively involved in rowing. In 1952 he joined London Rowing Club, then as now one of the largest and most successful clubs in Great Britain.
Famously, Hill adopted the colours and cap design of London RC for his racing helmet - dark blue with white oar-shaped tabs. Damon Hill later adopted these same colours.

I would have thought whatever Jairus was working on a couple of years ago would have been completed by now and who asked would not be important to you. What are you building now, Jairus? This question came up a couple years ago too, but I forget by whom or why.

Because that last message didn't make a whole lot of sense to me....
I cannot tell you what I am working on because the customer asked me not to!
The car I am working is a new one.
If you don't remember who asked the question a while ago and to whom the last question sprang from, why would you assume that I have been working on it for all these years?
The customer wanted a Graham Hill helmet and that is what I am giving him. I usually finish up the projects as quickly as I can... Yes, I have been working on one of Adam's for a few months now but... hey, it was a weird request...
And I like ORANGE! So there...

If it was important to me, I would have remembered who it was. I don't think it was on the Slotblog, maybe OWH or SlotForum, but the discussion centered around the shape of the white stripes which turned out to be oars.I would have thought whatever Jairus was working on a couple of years ago would have been completed by now and who asked would not be important to you.

I brought up this fact they they were oars heads (not trying to be a smart aleck) as some people had trouble identifying the shape. Off the top of my head I think there were nine oars heads around the helmet.

The helmet color was also a very dark blue, almost black.
