It was a great day of racing and close action. The ORS would like to thank the McMasters family for a great time, having the track in great condition and for the tasty lunch that was served.

Thanks to Bill Fulmer for taking tons of pics to be posted here soon and for helping out with tech as well.

Thanks to Eric Balicki for doing some race directing.

Tough Luck Award goes to Gary Adams who drove and/or sat in traffic on the highway for almost three hours to arrive late to the race and then fell under the weather, having to head back home and not get to race. :(

The next ORS event is Nov 17, 2012, at Mark's Model World in Canton, OH. F1, Can-Am, and Retro Anglewinder classes will be raced.

Thanks to all you came to the race and hope to see all and even more at the next event.

Tech info and pics to follow...

The ORS Board of Directors: Mike McMasters, Thom Greene, and Eric Balicki.

Thanks to everyone who came to the race. Like always the competition was fierce and close.

But what really sets retro apart, and the reason Cindy and I always look forward to hosting these events, is the people. Without doubt Retro racers are some of the best people anywhere. We consider ourselves lucky to be a part of the family.

I have to say special "Thank Yous" to Bill Fulmer, for his help with tech and his detailed photo work at all the races he attends. A very classy guy whose shoes will not be easy, or possible, to fill.

To Eric Balicki who's last-minute arrival from a wedding allowed me to race while he race directed the last two races. Even though I had a controller failure while in the lead I still had a BLAST.

To Josh Crutchfield for the loaner car that ran great even though he put MY motor in HIS winning car. :D

To my wife Cindy and daughter Jessica (of course Kyle is part of the package) whose help is beyond compare. It was very cool to race against Jessie for a change. We even managed to go 1 and 2 in the first heat. Of course the fact that she beat me overall is something she won't let me soon forget.

To Ron Hershman for his help during the race and handling the race reports.

And to all of you for being so much fun to hang out with.

Until next time...
