Three sponsors have each contributed $100 to promote our series and grow interest in retro style racing in Michigan. With this much money already in the prize fund we are practically paying you to give slot car racing a try. Come on out to the next race at TSS Hobbies in Belleville Michigan and join the fun!
It was a good day of racing at Boogie Raceway in Michigan Center as 8 racers squared off for the first event of the day – retro F1. All entries were F1 cars run more or less to IRRA rules. Have no doubt that you are entering the House of Sloan as Rick and Phil Sloan run very well at Boogie’s.

Phil Sloan lead the way with 259 laps while Matt Dube was a very close second.
Next up we had CANAM and all entries were IRRA style CANAM cars. The track racing surface came in very nice after the F1 race and Rick Sloan was able to set a new track record of 272 laps for a 3 minute heat.

We hope to see all the racers returning for the race at TSS Hobbies on the Green Monster hill climb. Remember this a tricky track to drive as the bank turn requires you to blip making it a driver’s track.
Season points are determined by the number of laps you run so consistent participation will have a big impact on how well you do.
