We hope to see ALL the guys from the fall brawl make it down here as well as those who couldn't attend as this track is a bit of a challenge but fast and offers a very competitive racing experience!

Dale Granger ran the Retro Pro event without any luck, however looked real good on friday in the GTC FK event until a broken flag in his last heat cost Dale a podium finish. Tough break Dale !
Last years M-D Retro's GTC champion Gary Hip Culy, from Hagerstown Md, ran the GTC PD, F1, and Can Am events. Hip ran well all weekend, representing M-D Retro in the Fall Brall at Speedzone.
Robert and Nick Brantley made their first appearance to Speedzone. Robert ran the GTC FK, F1, and Can Am events. Robert qualified 16th out of 51 Can Am entries on Sunday, but ran into some trouble in the C main after running very well. Brother Nick ran the GTC PD and Can Am events. Nick qualified 8th out of 51 Can Am entries just missing moving from the B main to the A main. Dad Gary kept the cars well tuned over the weekend.
Unfortainatley, I was not able to compete at Speedzone until Sunday in the Can Am event. Special Thanks to the SkunkWorks guys who went over my 2 year old "straight rail" chassis and had it working perfecly on Sunday qualifying 14th. The car was really working well, allowing me to win the C and B main and podium (3rd) in the Fall Brawl A main event for the Can Am cars. Here is the car I ran in the Fall Brawl, will probably run this car in the Can Am event at Sheaves this Thanksgiving weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving, see everyone on Saturday at Sheaves.

Dale ran well in GTC-FK and surely would have won the B-main if not for another car crossing his lane resulting in a broken guide flag in heat 8.
Nick ended up 5th overall in the GTC-PD and Rube who qualified 8th in the F1 class was running in the top 3 in the B-main until a gear problem got him in heat 7.
Hip was fast and had some fine running cars in GTC and Can Am.
We might not be getting big turnouts for our racers but the competition is fierce and we all enjoy every minute of it.
Gonna be some great racing Saturday at Sheaves, come on out and join us.

Practice starts at 830 to 1100 am. The "Goverment" plans to arrive about 9 am. Alot of us are looking forward to racing on "The Beast Of The East" again. Even though I have had no success on it, maybe I can run better tomorrow. Kohr and Granger will be tough, as well as locals Nick and Rube.
Sheaves also has an oval and a drag strip. The place is a slot racers paradise !
See everyone tomorrow. !
