Coming from Carrera to North America in D132, the Alfa Romeo GTA.

There is nothing "classic" about an Alfa GTA with a wing, added flares and spoilers that the true classic GTA never had in the day when the likes of Jochen Rindt were driving them. That Carrera chose a modern "modsport" to model is their problem, that my pocketbook will chose to ignore it is mine. How disappointing.

I still hate that GTA.

I would have bought the Carrera model in a second if it looked like that.

Guys I'm just reporting the news- not making it from scratch. This is the time of the year when people are looking for gift suggestions and the like so I thought these would be of interest. It looks like Carrera will have at least a dozen new releases in the next 60 days.

I think Carrera's logic was to have a running mate for their previously released BMW 2002.

Apparently Carrera heard you MrP; the various sources are calling this line "Silhouette" now. Another Deco of the Alfa has been announced but there are no photos available- just renderings. The new deco (red and white #23) will be stock number 27415.

 

Some retailers in North America got them in the shipments received this week (the same shipments with the 1/24 917K). This is a much more attractive looking racing car IMHO.
