I'm using metal casting parts for the cage. Fantasy livery "Martini". I had to do it "again";) Had a good time doing this one.

Can anyone say the correct width of these cars, meaning the measurement from the outside of one wheel to the outside of the other wheel as found on a factory original example. We are just trying to set a standard so they are all fair and equal.

Gary,

I will measure one for you precisely, front and rear track as per Monogram's intention and design, not per kids sticking a 3" rear axle on those things and making them so ugly when leaving them stock makes them so pretty.

Thanks , Yes I built one so that the wheels just clear the nerf bars but the other guys have the 3 inch plus which makes it unrealistic and unfair to race. I like to keep them stock with original wheels and tires too and if everyone does that we get some tight races and lots of fun.

The kit comes with nickel plated brass spacers, so they should be all what one be allowed to use, or replacements of the same exact width made of brass tubing, plus the standard locking nut. Should be easy to enforce.
