The next race at Downriver Speedway has been changed to December 16, 2012 in order not to be on the same weekend as the ORS race in Akron.

We will allow - 4001, 4002, 4002B, 4002BB, PARMA 501, 502, HAWK7, FALCON, EVIL9, F0-7 Demon motors FOR ALL THREE CLASSES.

It was a good day for retro racing on Sunday at TSS Hobbies in Belleville Michigan as 11 racers showed up for the second event of our 7 race season.
First up with 9 entries was F1/JK Indy where all 9 entries were once again F1. Jeremy Wyant hit the setup right and lead the field in a close race with Nelson Swanberg and Rick Davis right behind.

Next we ran retro Can Am where all 11 entries were retro style Can Am cars. Rick Davis had the right setup and just got by Jeremy Wyant for the win. We had some good close battles farther back in the field as well with Bob Appelle and Bob Dempsey having a very good race for third place.

Downriver has a Grandstand track that should be a full punch bank for every class. The drivers’ station is just after the bank with the cars moving from your right to left. We will have plenty of room as the drag racing side will be available for pit space. See you there.

Please be aware that as we continue to race through the season that the percentage off laps you run will change according to your participation. Come on out for the rest of the races and defend and hopefully improve your position!
