Is that J. Gorski in the front of the boat ? He has crossed the Delaware often to tangle with the M-D Retro guys. We hope John can join us Jan. 12. Guys, Its the only retro event on the east coast that weekend. No need to travel to California !

Are you going to race on full power or like last time, and instruct Roman to knock off a power supply. For ALL CLASSES?.......

Will the new .790 rear tire diameter and .040 clearance be in effect for the F1's at the Winter Nats?

Guys, we are considering moving the F1 race to 2nd or 3rd in order of the race schedule on JAN 12, so that some racers can use tires from the GTC PD class on  the F1's. We would like to hear some input from our racers. PLEASE ONLY COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS FROM THOSE PLANNING TO ATTEND ! NO KEYBOARD RACERS ADVICE NEEDED !

In January 2012,  3 time Mason Dixon Retro Champion Randy Kohr swept the M-D Winter Nationals. That will be tough for anyone to accomplish that feat again......even Randy !

Just a note from the tech table. Check your body height. It is 1 3/8 max from the tech block. This is the most common thing I send racers back for. It's a real pain to fix at the track. Check with your tall tires on to be sure your car Is low enough. Also check your gears . They must pass clearance too. I will be checking for pans, motors , ect . Hanging below the main rails . Please come to tech ready to pass!

I don't see anything wrong with running F1 last. With proper tire management you may be able to race all day on one pair, and that will really save some cash!

We raced F1 at the ROC race with the track super rubbered up and they rocked. Everyone thought best to race them first, doens't matter, they work fine on run in track, maybe better.

The TRACK owner Mimi Wong has been very supportive of the MASON DIXON SERIES since we started. We would like to see a good turnout on Saturday for the M-D Winter Nationals. Guys, its the only track in the area, we need to support it ! $35 total fees for all 3 events including pit pass, you wont find a better deal in retro racing ! Mimi has informed us she will open at 8 am this Saturday Jan 12.

a md retro 2012 039.jpg

As discussed earlier , Randy Kohr won all 3 races at The Winter Nationals. First he has to deal with the Brantley bunch who are flying right now in Mason Dixon Retro, Nick and Rube will be tough to beat.

summer heat 12 021.jpg

Dale Granger loves the Gaithersburg track. He will also be tough in the M-D Winter Nats.

gai nov 2010 011.jpg

Gary Hip Culy will be a threat as well. He has been getting better every time out.

a virg 2012 016.jpg

The Bennardos, Rick and Ricky (left and center), have run well at gaithersburg, we hope they make the trip. The RGEO chassis's have been working well at the fastest king in the country.

Gaith 2012 final 007.jpg

The biggest question is , where are all these racers ?

See everyone on Saturday Jan. 12 !
