1/24 NASCARs are one of the favourites at our local club, always makes for close racing.
A couple of my lastest builds.
We run a very basic chassis with MJK tyres all round.

Very cool, Cam!
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Paul,
The chassis is a MJK Dogbone chassis. Here in the states, Electric Dreams carries it and also Patto's in Australia carries it. If you do a search on the aussie forum using "mjk chassis" as your search term, there are quite a few threads showing mounting methods for this chassis.

Cam,
Very nice stuff.
What type of spur is that ?
What axle size?

Thanks guys,
3mm Axles and gears are Plafit. These dogbone's normally use 1/8 axles front and rear but I like having Plafit or JP gears so I went for 3mm and soldered in the oilites. I also make my own wheels, so having a standard 3mm wheel makes things easier.
We run Fox 2 motors, so they go well but aren't super quick. With MJK tyres you don't have the grip of foam tyres which makes the racing "taily" and lots of fun.

"Drive it like you're in it!!!"
"If everything feels under control... you are not going fast enough!"
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Where is the track? It looks like it may be chicaned in the corners... Any full track pictures?

Been a while since I've checked in, a couple more 1/24 Scaleauto white kit builds.
This Audi was by far the most challenging decal job I've had to do. The only paint on the car is white, the rest is decal and it had some difficult contours to manage.
