I see you use the 2011 USRA rules for bodies, but as far as chassis and motor setups do you use the current USRA or ISRA rules, IE: bearings in motors and axles, front wheels and other items??

Could you direct me to what you use please?

GT12, motors are c can appearing with bearing allowed in can.

Bearings ok in rear axle.

Sticker fronts ok.

Rear clearance is .032.

Most folks here are using the RedFox Audi body, but anything similar would be good. . .

Anything else?

Thanks Dennis I think that covers it and I can figure out more when I get there like gearing and tires and I am sure other stuff I can't think of right now.

It's suppose to be fun right? lol

Gearing for a GT12 on the BPR flat track is usually 7:42 to 7:44, depending on your motor.

Tire compound will depend on your frame and how the track is, but usually any untreated natural rubber tire is a good start. Size-wise, make sure you have about .032 clearance to start or you may not make it to the end of the Main on one set.

On the LMP cars is it just 2011 USRA or can the 2012 or 2013 body list for LMP be used also since some bodies from the 2011 list are difficult to find?

What gearing on the FK motors?

Are you finding the Demon, Evil motors to like gearing shorter or lower than the falcons?

Any LMP or GT body with a "step" spoiler for the LMP FK class. No GTP bodies.

Using the same gearing on the E9 or Demon as Falcons = 13:42....experiment. let us know.

Race leader, I tested all the the motors on my dyno and the E9 and Demon compared exactly like the H7, at every volt level they made exactly the same RPM's and Amp draw, the F7 was lower and each level so I was thinking to gear the new motors like I gear the H7.

I used 12/42 for the H7 and 13/43 for the F7 before so I hope to get to BP early Friday and do some testing.

The eurosport is my problem child... I absolutley hate 80 pitch gears!

Funn Racer ..I'll bring the car to the track and hopefully I can get the motor and gears in there! I'd like to use 6/45 80 pitch. I have spurs but my pinions are shot.

Yes it does, but its a converted GT12 chassis so the axle blocks are very high and 6:45 doesnt mesh very well. It looks like I'd need a 7:48 to get it to work right.

I have 6 45/80 spurs and they just didn't have the right mesh and it didn't work.

I'll be there anyway!
