Just a few final comments and thoughts here to wrap up the great weekend of racing at the Parma Checkpoint.  The SCRRA and Buena Park Raceway wishes to thank all the racers who came from near and all the racers who came from far......THANK YOU ALL for attending!!

Congrats to all the winners, (Duran Trujillo, Duran, Duran, Duran and Alex Freund!!) and all the usual podium hogs.... and a few thoughts of special note here.........

Congrats to a STELLAR performance by SpeedZones Mike Isles with 3 podium finishes!!........

Tracy Chin with great runs in Coupes and Retro Pro,

       Herman James in 1/32,

Al Thurman with his unique Can Am car that ran so well,

Did anyone notice Jim Langes great chassis in RP and Can Am?.............

Super job Ben Cervantes Jr. in F1,

Tore got his moneys worth...........moved all the way from the Can Am C Main to 5th in the A Main.

Congrats John Cukras on TQ in F1 and a well deserved 3rd!!

Bad luck John Gorski in F1 as his motor let go with a possible win in sight!

KamoSpeed cars, chassis and clones and copies still going strong!

Skinny F1's still lead the way over the wide cars.....

Thanks Parma for the race sponsorship and Noose and Gil Rivera for the generous donations!

Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way. Too many to name but I will try..............Jim and Debbie Watterson of BPR, Greg Carter, Jeff Easterly, Alex Freund, John Cukras, Philippe deLespinay, Terry Schmid, Mill Conroy, Gary Donahoe, Tom Hansen, Marc Franco, Jay Kisling, Dennis Samson,Tim Neja, Jason Holmes, Craig Correia, Barney Poyner, Mike Who, Hector Gonzalez, Earl McCutcheon.............and anyone else I forgot............THANKS!!

The next SCRRA race is tomorrow.........are we nuts?! :laugh2:  The next BIG SCRRA race will be the Pete Zimmerman "Festival of Speed" in April on the weekend of the 27th and 28th. More details to follow but the schedule will probably be Can Am on Saturday and Retro Pro and F1 on Sunday. :)

And everyone owes you a big thank you for the great report, as well as all the great help you provided to so many who could never have participated if it had not been for it.
We all owe you big!  :)

Completely agree with Philippe. Bryan does a LOT for SCRRA and its racers who might need some sort of help. Not to mention the race reports, pictures and getting his own cars ready. Thanks for all you do Bryan.

Most definitely a HUGE thanks to Bryan!!!! Doing reports, photos, taking questions and still getting his program and helping others with theirs is awesome. We are a very fortunate group.

Well, my attempts to upload videos failed. UHG!

I had a blast! Thanks to all who worked to make this a great event. I will return next year.

Thanks to John the Jet for tipping me off that my body was ripped out at the pin tube. :victory:

and thanks to NOOSE for the neat prize. :good:

I received my Checkpoint poster from Nesta in the mail today and it had the signatures of many of the famous racers in attendence. What an incredible memento, one that will be framed and displayed in my library next to my other prized possessions. Every time I look at it I will be reminded of my favorite hobby. Unbelievable.
