Heart of Dixie Raceway
Three classes: Stock Car, Formula 1 and Can-Am.
All classes to be run on the 145' Hasse Paperclip.
Doors open at 8:00 AM
Tech opens for the Stock Car class at 10:00AM
One hour lunch break following the conclusion of the Stock Car race.
30 minutes of practice after the lunch break, then tech opens for F1.
30 minutes of practice following the conclusion of the F1 race, then tech opens for Can-Am.
IRRA™ rules.
$10 entry fee for each class entered plus a $5 pit pass fee for the day.
No qualifying. Races will be run in a Round Robin format if we have between 9 and 11 entries in a given class. If we have more than 11 entries, then racers will be randomly seeded into mains with the combined lap totals determining the overall finishing positions.
Box plaques will be awarded to the podium winners, as well as the winner of concours for each class.

Eddie and I cleaned and glued the track tonight. Dallas and Howard were there to help run it in. Track's in great shape and pretty fast. Going to be a good race. Looking forward to Saturday. You don't want to miss this one. See Y'all there.

Sounds great to see you are talking about coming down to the fastest track in Talladega, Al. I'll add the the real Talladega on that list. Sure enough can't leave out the "Dirt" track....!

Sure enough had great fun racing Sat; I counted 15 to come through the door! That's what I mean!!!!
I hope all racrer had as much fun as I did, and fromthe reponse I got they sure did!!

What a great race! Big turnout, great people, sportsmanship and competition. I had a ball but I'm beat now.
Sorry about the wall shot Dallas. You caught me when I blipped the bank. You always have the ponies but the brass tubing main rails need to go!
Kudos to Eddie Lawly on another well run event and to Fire Marshall J.C. for telling to smokers to GO OUTSIDE!!
Standout performances by Jay Guard, Eddie Lawly and Red Valentine. My guys, John Clow & Bud Green were fast but snake bit all day.
This racing kept a smile on my face all day just watching the awesome looking cars go around!!

Thanks to all the racers who came out and supported this race in spite of the lousy weather. Easily the best turnout we've had to date.
