Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Thanks for posting that, Greg.

Roger has really taken his time on his presentation and it is first class, just like his raceway.

Very interesting and two of the best facilities in the country.

I'm sure either would be a worthy choice and lucky are the racers that live nearby!

I haven't been to Roger's, but have been to Jim's.  Jim's is nice and the tracks are great.  His parts counter is second to none.  From what I've seen, Roger's is pretty good too!  Both tracks would do a great job hosting the Nats, I'm sure...

But, to say the are the two best facilities in the country?   :-)   Frank's track (Slot Car Raceway in Rohnert Park) is pretty nice too, and I'm sure there are plenty that would say it's as good as Roger and Jim's.   Our local facility is pretty nice too...  I'm sure there are a lot of nice facilities out there, along with some dives.  :-)

I think having the Nats at a variety of tracks is good for the hobby, so long as the chosen facilities are capable of hosting the event, which clearly both of thise years contenders are.   From what I've seen, the nats seems to rotate between the same 4 or 5 tracks every couple of years...   Perhaps it's time for a new venue to join the group and reward the Pacific Northwest racers, whome I've seen travel to several races, with an opportunity to host the nats in their backyard.

The 1st USRA Nats the Northwest hosted was the '88 Nats. It was also the 1st Nats to have one class of racing a day.

Either venue would do well as a host.

But I may be prejudiced.
