A couple of years ago I bought a Mercedes kit from British company Penelope Pitlane - http://www.penelopepitlane.co.uk/

They make some nice 1:32 Resin kits, chassis and parts for classic Formula cars - and the prices are decent too.

At last I have finished the kit:

Everything shown on the pics, including the nice alu wheels and PE wire wheel inserts, decals etc. are included. I have only added the brass bottom (weight) plate, which is mounted "floating" not to restrict the chassis flex.

Great fun to build and not the last from their line :-)

Mike, I tried it with 15g lead taped to the bottom of the chassis (same weight as my brass pan) and it was fun to drive. I have not compared it with similar cars yet :-(

But worth a try :-)
